Brazilian regional operator Copel Telecom has launched a symmetrical 1Gbps broadband service in Curitiba, the capital and largest city of the state of Parana.
The network leverages the telco’s fibre-optic network, which currently spans 33,000km across the 399 municipalities of Parana. The service is priced at BRL1,499.9 (USD366.4) and would-be customers are asked to register their interest via the operator’s website.
