Tele2 Lithuania, the country’s largest mobile operator by subscribers, has increased the number of its ‘4G+’ and ‘4G++’ LTE-A base stations from 500 to 760 over the last six months.
The Swedish-owned company states that its 4G+ network supports maximum download speeds of 250Mbps, while the 4G++ service offers data rates of up to 375Mbps. Combined, Tele2 has installed 1,240 4G, 4G+ and 4G++ base stations, providing coverage to 99% of the country.
