Orange Jordan continues to support the activities of the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD). The company supports the free medical days carried out by the campaign in various parts of the Kingdom through the remote medical clinic and Orange Jordan CSR volunteer club members (NAMA) where they provide free medical services to beneficiaries, by selecting a number of patients from underprivileged families who need help in receiving further medical care according to their health status.
As part of its partnership with a number of private hospitals in Amman, the campaign carries out the necessary surgical operations. This year, several free surgical procedures were performed for 33 patients in the Middle East Eye Hospital, The Islamic Hospital, and the Specialty Hospital.
HRH Princess Basma Bint Talal, Chairperson of the High Committee of the campaign, visited patients at the hospitals to check on their health, stressing the campaign’s pride in the fruitful partnerships with national medical institutions, and its commitment to maintaining and developing these partnerships, that provide quality and optimal treatment services to patients and families in need.
Orange Jordan expressed its pride in the long-term partnership with the Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) and its support for its initiatives, which reflects its social responsibility towards members of the community, falling in line with Orange Jordan’s five-year corporate strategy “Essentials 2020”.
The company affirmed its support to the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development’s (JOHUD) programs and initiatives, particularly the free medical days program, ‘’Doroub Al Elim’’ initiative; part of the national goodwill campaign, and which provides students with scholarships, and supporting the establishment of the Women Digital Center at HRH Princess Basma Bin Talal’s Centers, which trains women on the latest technologies and teaches them how to start a small business and promote it.
The free medical days. part of the goodwill campaign provide free medical and consultation services to patients and medicine, clinics include various medical specialties, such as stomach physicians, gastroenterologists and cardiac clinics, diabetes, Women’s Clinic, eye, children, nose, ear and throat, teeth, skin, chest, bones, rheumatism and joints.
