Copel Telecom expands FTTH to 16 cities in Parana state

Brazilian regional operator Copel Telecom announced the expansion of its fibre broadband service to 16 cities in the interior of Parana, reports Gazeta do Povo. Copel has installed more than 300 km of fibre-optic cables to bring the FTTH service to the new cities.

The company is already present in 64 cities of Parana with the FTTH service. The price and speed of the plans offered vary according to the size of the cities. The new cities begin with plans from 5 Mbps for BRL 49.90 per month.
