Wataniya Palestine’s customer numbers increased by 55 percent year-on-year to 1.2 million at the end of March, benefiting from its launch in Gaza in October 2017.
Revenue increased to KWD 7.1 million, up by 15 percent compared to KWD 6.2 million for the same period in 2017. EBITDA was slightly down at KWD 1.1 million, compared to KWD 1.5 million in Q1 2017. The operator said it made good progress in the first three months of the year, with the launch of the 3G network in the West Bank in January.
