Vodafone Germany has doubled the maximum upload speed offered over its 4G LTE network to 100Mbps. The higher rates are currently available in 450 towns and cities across the country, including Berlin, Dusseldorf, Essen, Flieden, Karben and Melbeck. Customers of all of Vodafone’s LTE tariffs are able to access 100Mbps upload speeds, as long as they have a compatible smartphone such as the Sony Xperia XZ1 and the Sony Xperia XZ2.
Vodafone currently offers 4G download speeds of 1Gbps in Hannover, Hamburg, Berlin and Dusseldorf, while 40 cities have coverage of 500Mbps downstream rates.
