Digital platform iflix is partnering with Vietnam's Viettel Telecom to offer almost 70 million mobile customers three months' unlimited access to an array of streamed video content.
The promotion, sponsored by Viettel, will provide both prepaid and postpaid customers with a library of first-run exclusive shows, TV series, films and kids' programmes, with local, regional and international content. The iflix content can be accessed on five connected devices at once and be downloaded to consume offline later.

Viettel, part of the Vietnam Military Telecommunications Group, operates a 4G mobile network that covers 95% of the population in the Southeast Asian country. Its deal with iflix will enable the Malaysia-based subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) platform increase its reach in the emerging market of Vietnam.
iflix is also available in Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Brunei, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Myanmar, the Maldives, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, Sudan, Cambodia, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Nepal, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.
