Zong has announced it has reached a 70 percent share of Pakistan's 4G market at end-2017. The company also claims to have hosted more than half of data traffic of Pakistan in 2017. Zong invested USD 200 million in 2017 to expand its 4G footprint to more than 300 cities across Pakistan, bringing the total number of sites to over 10,000.
