The number of LTE cell sites in operation across mainland France increased to 33,061 as of 01 February, according to the latest figures from spectrum agency ANFR. Across all four MNOs, cell site activations progressed at a slower pace month-on-month, increasing by 1 percent overall since December 2017. Orange and SFR added the most antennas during January (+258 and +251 respectively), while Bouygues Telecom eased back to 64 additions. Free Mobile's footprint increased by 227 to reach 9,884 in total, behind Bouygues (14,656), SFR (14,380) and Orange (14,290).
