French telecoms operator Bouygues Telecom has revealed that it now covers 95% of the French population with 4G.
The operator disclosed that 63.5 million people can now benefit from its multi-band LTE network, which comprises 16,479 authorised LTE sites (14,592 in operation). Bouygues offers LTE services in the 800MHz (launched in May 2013), 2600MHz (May 2013), 1800MHz (October 2013), 700MHz (July 2017) and 2100MHz (July 2017) bands. The operator is aiming to further expand its LTE footprint to 99% by the end of 2018.
