Bulgarian cellco Mobiltel (Mtel) has launched carrier aggregation (CA) over its LTE network in Bansko, Botovets, Pamporovo, Chepelare, Dobrinishte, Velingrad, Sandanski, Sapareva Banya, Hisarya and Belchin, thus upping download speeds over the network to 150Mbps.
Going forward, the operator is planning to deploy the CA technology across the entire territory by the autumn of 2018.
