Kuwait has the cheapest broadband internet fares among all Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) member states, according to Al Rai newspaper.
A BDRC Continental report ranked Kuwait on top of GCC countries, 11th in the Arab world and 89th worldwide for cheapest broadband internet, with an average of $55.3 monthly.
Founded in 1991, the award-winning BDRC Continental is the UK's largest independent research consultancy, providing services to more than 90 countries.
The report ranked the United Arab Emirates as the most expensive GCC country for broadband internet fares, with a monthly average of $155.17, followed by Qatar ($149.4) and Oman ($147.8).
The BDRC survey ranked Bahrain third cheapest GCC country, with a monthly average of $104.8, preceded by Saudi Arab which came second, after Kuwait, with an average of $84 monthly.
