Netherlands based KPN expands B2B VoLTE

Dutch quad-play telco KPN has noted, an underlying slight increase in consumer division 9M17 revenues. In the third quarter KPN added a net 11,000 fixed broadband customers, 12,000 mobile post-paid subscribers and 23,000 IPTV subscribers, whilst reporting that 62% of its post-paid mobile users took fixed-mobile bundles at 30 September 2017, compared to 53% twelve months earlier.

KPN also announced that it is expanding the availability of its VoLTE services into the business customer sector over the coming weeks for B2B users with compatible smartphones. Furthermore, this week saw the announcement that KPN is extending trials of hybrid DSL-LTE broadband services, offering the high speed home internet solution to around 2,500 additional KPN customers in rural or outlying areas in the next few months.
