Makedonski Telekom announced that its customers will be able to use the LTE (4G) data roaming service while staying in Germany. This new service was enabled by purchasing and implementing a new network element and successfully passing the tests in accordance with the contract on roaming cooperation with Deutsche Telekom.
The operator also said it plans to increase the number of data roaming partners in the upcoming period. At the moment, the roaming portfolio of Makedonski Telekom offers 2G roaming with 397 foreign networks in 178 countries, GPRS roaming in 295 networks in 144 countries, 3G in 268 networks in 134 countries, as well as CAMEL prepaid roaming in 83 networks in 40 countries.
