Uzbekistan’s Ucell has expanded its commercial 4G LTE mobile network to its sixth city, Jizzakh, situated in the east of the country with a population of roughly 165,000. Ucell launched its 2600MHz LTE network in Q1 2015 in Uzbek capital Tashkent, expanding to Samarkand in October that year before subsequent expansion to Bukhara, Navoi and Zarafshan. Ucell claims 4G data speed capability of 150Mbps (downlink), although its 2600MHz-only service supports a narrower range of devices compared to the rival LTE networks of Beeline Uzbekistan and UMS.
