Kyrgyzstan’s MegaCom has expanded its ‘3.75G’ W-CDMA/HSPA network in 86 additional locations in four regions over the last month alone, the Tazabek news site reported. New 3G base stations were installed in Osh region (49 locations), Jalal-Abad region (20 locations), Batken region (13 locations) and Naryn region (four locations). In addition, state-backed MegaCom announced that it had upgraded existing 4G LTE base stations in the capital Bishkek and 13 other cities/locations.
