VTC, Huawei launch joint training program in Jordan

The Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) and Huawei, a leading global ICT solutions provider, has launched a vocational training program in support of the Jordan government’s efforts to develop the local ICT talent pool.

Catered to sales and maintenance staff, the training programs will help to improve the quality of service in mobile stores across the capital.

The program was launched at the VTC headquarters in Amman by Hani Khalifat, Director of the VTC, and Andy Wu, General Manager of Huawei Jordan, in the presence of key stakeholders involved in national training programs and the cellular market.

As part of the joint training program, VTC will be responsible for selecting the trainees, while Huawei will provide the training and the equipment for the courses.

The training will provide rich technical knowledge and experience that will benefit the trainees in their workplace. The Vocational Training Corporation will also be responsible for overseeing the content and coordinating with Huawei to ensure that the training meets the real needs of the Jordan market.

At the end of the course, the trainees will receive certificates that will improve their employability in the field.

Andy Wu, General Manager of Huawei Jordan said, "This program embodies the joint vision of the Vocational Training Foundation and UNRWA to support the Jordanian government's efforts in preparing and equipping national talent to help build Jordan's future.
