Deutsche Telekom announced new areas where customers can access fibre-based broadband at up to 100 Mbps. These include parts of Alt Tellin, Demmin, Kruckow, Hohenmocker, Nossendorf, Stendal, Utzedel and Warrenzein, as well as Bentzien, Gnevkow, Langen and Leipzig-Sued. The German operator also started construction for the roll-out of 100 Mbps service in lthuette, Arneburg-Goldbeck, Bismark, Geislingen an der Steige, Gerstetten, Ihlow and Iserlohn.
Work has also been completed on delivering 50 Mbps service to Fuerstenstein, Heilsbronn, Hofstetten, Hungen, Jetzendorf, Oberaudorf and Schaeftlarn. In several of these areas part of the roll-out included deploying FTTH. All of the project received public subsidies. DT completed the roll-out of 50 Mbps on its own in Hohenau, Markt Bruckmuehl and Rettenberg.
