Oman’s BankDhofar has introduced a mobile wallet with high level security features as part of its efforts to support the Central Bank of Oman’s (CBO) initiatives to add to the convenience of eBanking channels. Mobile wallet is a new, secure and easy way to transfer money to other wallet users just by registering the beneficiary’s mobile number via the bank’s mobile banking app.
Funds can be transferred via BankDhofar’s mobile banking app from a customer’s wallet to other customer wallets by using their mobile number. The cash transfer limit is from OMR 1 up to a maximum of OMR 500 per day for mobiles and devices using Android and iOS systems
