Slovak Telekom continues the expansion of its LTE network and reports coverage at 88.3 percent of the population as of the end of the second quarter. In Q2, the operator added dozens of transmitters and 60 locations to its LTE map. In addition, Slovak Telekom brought its faster LTE-A network to two new cities; speeds up to 225 Mbps are available in Pezinok and up to 300 Mbps in Poprad.
Slovak Telekom leads in LTE coverage, followed by Orange Slovakia with 80 percent, O2 Slovakia with 70 percent and 4ka with 66 percent of the population covered.
