The conference began with discussion sessions, including the developments and trends in the global payment systems and real time gross settlement (RTGS) at the regional level, as well as the mobile payment on a national level, the legal dimensions of e-payments, and the legal vision between legislation and implementation, in addition to the discussion of contemporary insights on payment systems, national economic systems, the digital currency and the historical evolution of electronic payments systems.
