Bangladeshi mobile operator Robi has introduced a special 45 Days Hajj roaming package for the pilgrims who are planning to follow the religious ritual this year. The Hajj roaming package offers unlimited internet with 100 minutes for local outgoing calls, 100 minutes for incoming calls and 100 minutes for calls to Bangladesh, as well as 100 SMS for BDT 4,999. Incoming SMS are free and calls made to any other international destinations will be charged separately.
The pack is valid for 45 days. Customers can activate the Hajj roaming services bundle at Robi Sheba centers.
In addition to the Hajj roaming package, customers who plan to make a short trip to Saudi Arabia can activate roaming packages from an array of unlimited internet validity options that includes roaming packages with one day, three days, seven days and ten days validity period.
The roaming bundle package with one day validity period in Saudi Arabia is available for BDT 999, and includes unlimited internet, 60 minutes local calls, 10 minutes combined for incoming or calls made to Bangladesh and 10 SMS. The roaming bundle with three day validity is priced at BDT 1,499. It comes with unlimited internet, 70 minutes local calls, 20 minutes combined for incoming or calls made to Bangladesh and 20 SMS.
The roaming bundle package with seven days validity is available for BDT 1,999, and includes unlimited internet access, 150 minutes for local calls, 30 minutes combined for incoming or calls made to Bangladesh and 30 SMS. The package with ten days validity period is on sale for BDT 2,499 and offers unlimited internet, 160 minutes local calls, 40 minutes combined for incoming or calls made to Bangladesh and 40 SMS.
Internet plans are available only for postpaid customers. Prepay customers will only be able to use the voice call and SMS service from Robi.
