Orange Jordan renews its agreement with Tkiyet Um Ali

Orange Jordan recently renewed its long-term partnership with Tkiyet Um Ali. The renewal agreement was signed on behalf of Orange Jordan by its CEO,Jérôme Hénique and the General Manager of Tkiyet Um Ali, Samer Balqar.

Under this agreement, Orange Jordan will continue supporting TUA’s sustainable nutritional support programs and different annual& seasonalactivities. Orange Jordan will also sponsor families in need in different governorates across the Kingdom through distributing food parcels to them all year long, also, sponsoring a number of TUA’s activities during the Holy month of Ramadan. They will also offer logistic support to execute TUA’s activities, like preparing food parcels and distributing them to sponsored families with the help and participation of Orange Volunteer Club“NAMA”, in addition to supporting “Mawaed Al Rahman” at the headquarters of TUA during the Holy month of Ramadan. This year, Orange Jordan’s volunteers will participate in the new volunteering programs of TUA, like reading short stories to children and planting trees in the low-income suburbs and neighborhoods.

Commenting on the occasion, Orange CEO, JérômeHéniquesaid: “Commenting on the occasion, Orange Jordan CEO said: “Orange Jordan has a clear and unwavering mandate of being an agent of positive change in the local society. Through forging long-lasting partnerships with highly-achieved national NGO’s such as Tkyet Um Ali- whose main objective is to alleviate poverty and hunger - we are confident that our corporate social responsibility goals are fully met and a positive and sustainable social impact is achieved. “

General Manager of Tkiyet Um Ali, Samer Balqar thanked Orange Jordan for its continuous support for Tkiyet Um Ali throughout the years saying: “we appreciate the unwavering support of Orange Jordan to our programs over the past years, whichdemonstrates their faith in the vision of Um Ali to reach a hunger-free Jordan through the sustainable nutritional support programs. We are currently providing monthly food parcels to 25,000 needy families in all governorates of the Kingdom and are expanding our operations so that we can provide sustainable nutritional support to 30,000 families under the food poverty line by the end of 2017.”
