Vodafone Hungary announced on its website that it has expanded its ‘4G+’ LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) coverage to 15 towns/locations in the Lake Balaton tourist region, having launched LTE-A services in the capital Budapest and its environs in February 2017. The additional locations – including Balatonkenesen, Zamardin, Aszofon, Csopakon and Siofokon – were added to the LTE-A footprint by switching on additional LTE spectrum in the 1800MHz band, Vodafone disclosed, whilst noting that its 4G+ speeds currently reach up to 150Mbps.
