Australian operator Optus plans to invest AUD 3 million to upgrade its 4G and 3G mobile network in Albany and along Albany Highway. In the next two years, the operator plans to deploy five new sites in Albany CBD, Albany North East, Gledhow, Beaufort River and Kendenup. Optus also reports it has recently built and activated two new sites at Orana and Spencer Park which are already providing upgraded 4G and 3G coverage for residents, businesses and visitors. Coverage has also improved at the Albany Hospital and the surrounding area.
