Hull-based regional UK telco KCOM has outlined the next phase of its fibre broadband rollout project, covering the period July to September 2017. According to ISPreview, as per the company’s plans its ‘Lightstream’-branded fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) network is expected to reach an additional 10,000 premises in East Hull under the plan. More than 100,000 homes and businesses are already within KCOM fibre network footprint, and the company is said to be aiming to increase this figure to 150,000 by the end of the year. Cathy Phillips, KCOM’s chief marketing officer, said of the matter:
