América Tevé has released a free app for Android and iOS devices that enables users to watch up to eight hours of content from the linear network which is refreshed daily. The apps complement the mobile content strategy the company has been developing on its web properties.
“América Tevé is looking to improve the audience’s access to instant news and entertainment content,” said Emilio Braun Burillo, partner, América CV Network.
Through this launch, the Florida-based channel aims to increase its reach among US Hispanics, an increasingly mobile and connected audience.
“We are committed to meeting the expectations of our community, satisfying the needs of people with different roots, through different generations,” added Carlos Vasallo, president and CEO, América CV Network.
Though far below the viewing figures delivered by leading networks such as Univision and Telemundo, América Tevé has a strong local presence in Florida and New York.
