Vodafone says its services have been fully restored after experiencing a major outage across Auckland.
"Some of our customers had a brief service interruption in parts of Auckland and Northland this afternoon," spokeswoman Susan McGregor Bevan told the Herald.
"The outage lasted for 16 minutes and all services are now fully restored."
She said technical teams were continuing to monitor the network.
Vodafone earlier said on its website 2G, 3G and 4G voice and data services in Birkenhead, North Shore are affected by the outage.
Hundreds posted comments on the Vodafone website.
Seema Narain said there's no service in South Auckland. "Can't use calls, messages or data".
Jon-Pierre Charrier posted that all vodafone phones in his Auckland down town office saying "no service".
Vodafone said it had been having problems since 1.38pm.
