German operator Ewe announced the expansion of its FTTH network into the town of Twist, where it will connect nearly 2,000 households. Customers will be able to receive speeds up to 100 Mbps download and 40 Mbps upload. A marketing campaign will start in the second half of 2017 for residents to sign up for free connections, and the first connections should be available in the spring of 2018.
