Negotiations for the sale of the shares of Tunisia Telecom’s strategic Emirati partner are well under way, official sources said.
According to our information, they are even in a very advanced phase and seem to have already passed the “Data Room” stage.
Indeed, these negotiations have recently taken place between the Abraaj group and EIT (Emirati International Telecom) and are in the final stages of the process of transferring to
the Abraaj group the 35% that EIT holds in the capital of TT.
According to our sources, Abraaj has already made a first financial offer to EIT, which is currently studying it.
It should be noted that for TT (Tunisie Telecom), it will be only a simple change of partner and that Tunisia will not touch a round of this sale.
