Algar Telecom selects Bwtech’s NetChart to monitor services

Brazil’s Algar Telecom has selected Bwtech’s NetChart to supervise its multi-vendor Radio Access Network and standardize the network configuration parameters to ensure the best possible user experience.

A unique combination of ease of use and flexibility via a single user interface with a comprehensive set of standard functionalities and features was cited as a major reason for selecting NetChart.

The partnership will enable the Algar engineering team to monitor their 2G, 3G and 4G Radio Access Network performance and logical alarms as well as generate customised performance reports.

Simultaneously, NetChart will be used to manage the multi-vendor configuration parameters, automatically correcting any setting deviation whilst assuring that the optimal parameters are always maintained.

Algar Telecom Engineers will also use NetChart to correlate network elements performances with parameters changes and logical alarms. This allows engineers to quickly understand the impact a parameter change or logical alarm has on the network performance. By rapidly identifying these issues and correcting them, Algar will offer the best quality of service they can to their clients.
