Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) has partnered Fortinet and Arbor Networks to enhance its managed security services offering for business customers. SLT has added three products to its managed security service portfolio: ‘Managed Firewall’, which provides the protection to Enterprise networks; ‘Email Security’, which provides the Gateway Email security to Enterprise Networks; and ‘DDoS Protection Service’ to protect the Enterprise network from Distributed Denial of Services (DDoS) attacks. Each product can be monitored using the portal, which can be accessed via the internet link, which is at the customer premises.
The managed firewall service and DDOS protection service are extended to present and new SLT customers having an internet link. Email security is provided from the cloud based system to customer having an email system which is either on or off premises. Once registered for this service, customers can operate and manage their firewall over a portal along with management reporting and analytics features. SLT will also provide 24/7 support and service assurance to help maintain all customer networks.
