Polish regulator UKE has published the results of the consultation on the draft decision on a proposal by Orange Poland and the Chamber of Commerce in Electronics and Telecommunications (KIGEiT). At the beginning of September 2016, Orange and KIGEiT requested the re-assessment of a case that ended in a decision by the regulator on 11 August 2016. In that decision, UKE confirmed an amendment to the reference wholesale offer of Orange Poland (SOR offer), as a result of an earlier decision on bitstream access (market 5) as of 07 October 2014.
UKE conducted a consultation on the proposals of Orange and KIGEiT from 20 January to 20 February 2017. Under the consultation, Orange Poland submitted a comment on 17 February. It is currently subject to analysis and will be taken into account in UKE’s final decision.
Orange proposed several prices at a different level than those calculated in the decision on the SOR amendment. The operator justifies the change by the need to bring prices into line with the cost calculations.
