Dutch IPTV provider KPN has launched a seven-day catch-up TV service through its EPG enabling subscribers to restart any programme on one of 132 channels.
The service is available for all clients of KPN Interactieve TV, including its side brands XS4ALL and Telfort.
Dutch cabler Ziggo already offer a similar catch-up service for owners of the Horizon set-top box, but only on a limited number of channels. KPN is offering the functionality on all its channels, 132 overall, of which 63 in its basic tier and 36 in HD.
KPN already offered a Restart TV service, which allowed viewers to restart a programme from the beginning when they tuned in while the programme is in progress, but now people can watch any programme from the past seven days.
