Broadband service over the 3G (UMTS) standard cover over 2,400 settlements in Ukraine, according to a statement from the National Radio-Frequencies Centre (UDRC).
Since the launch of 3G services in 2015, UDRC has issued over 16,400 permits to the three mobile operators for the exploitation of 3G network equipment.
A total 2,795 3G base stations are available in Kiev, 1,054 base stations are located in Kharkiv, 1,008 3G base stations work in Dnipropetrovsk, and 849 3G base stations are based in Odessa.
