The INT Observatory explains this improvement by the wholesale market receipts, 37 MTD, an evolution of 6.2%, while the revenues of the retail market have slightly dropped -4 MTD.
Yet in detail, only Orange Tunisia’s total revenues among the three public telecommunications network operators registered a surge in revenues in 2015. The turnover rose to 121 MTD, i.e. a growth rate of 31.4% to 507 MTD.
On the other hand, Ooredoo Tunisia and “Tunisie Télécom” are not looking great, with revenues declining by (-4.6%) and (-3.8%), respectively.
In terms of market share, the incumbent operator (Tunisie Telecom) retains its status as number 1, with 41.1%, followed by Ooredoo Tunisia with 37%.
Orange Tunisia improved in 2015 with its 4.5 points more, but still far behind with a share of 19.4%, indicates the analysis of the INT Observatory.
