Ooredoo Maldives has launched 4G+ in another 40 locations across the country under its plan to expand its 4G+ network to all local islands and resorts by 15 January. The grid is now available in locations throughout Alif Alif, Alif Dhaalu, Baa, Dhaalu, Kaafu, Lhaviyani and Raa atoll.
All Ooredoo customers will be able to use the 4G+ network in available areas at no extra charge, provided that they have a 4G+ compatible phone and a 4G SIM card. To check compatibility, customers can text '4G' to 5353. The 4G SIM cards are easily available at Ooredoo Experience Centres and Business Partner Shops.
