Maroc Telecom has been awarded the title of fastest mobile network in Morocco for 2016 by Ookla Speedtest, based on over 300,000 speed tests carried out by users in the country over a six-month period. Announcing the news, the operator said that its LTE network covers over 73 percent of Morocco's population and that its 4G+ service offers a theoretical speed of 225 Mbps over LTE-A technology.
