Mohu has launched Untangle.TV, an online application that analyses consumer viewing behaviours to recommend a custom mix of over-the-air (OTA) and over-the-top (OTT) devices and services needed to watch the TV they prefer at a cost they control.With 54% of consumers admitting they have considered cutting the cord to get rid of cable or satellite, according to a 2016 Mohu survey, Untangle.TV was built to simplify the cord-cutting journey.
Untangle.TV creates personalised package recommendations by understanding a handful of questions that are specific to users and their behaviours. Once the user sets their budget and viewing preferences, Untangle.TV provides a list of products that a user should purchase by analysing performance capabilities and costs of Mohu OTA antennas and major OTT devices, services and applications.
