Kazakhstan fixed and cellular operator KaR-Tel, which trades under its parent VimpelCom’s Beeline brand, has contracted Astellia to improve mobile network performance and boost customer experience. The telco says it is using Astellia’s solution for 2G and 3G end-to-end network performance monitoring and troubleshooting to discover and resolve issues and implement ongoing performance enhancements. Beeline is Kazakhstan’s second largest mobile operator by subscribers, with around 37% of the market.
