Ooredoo celebrates renaissance day with 100% bonus credit for prepaid customers

In celebration of the 46th Renaissance Day, Ooredoo announced a special one day promotion that will provide its customers with 100% bonus credit for free with every 5 and 10 OMR recharge. Offered through its special ‘Ooredoo Surprises’ platform, customers can easily double their credit and data for the duration of 23rd July 2016.

Feras Al Shaikh, Ooredoo’s Director of Consumer Sales, said, “This Renaissance Day commemorates 46 years since the blessed reign of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said began and we want to celebrate this momentous occasion with our customers, by doubling their credit when they top up to talk, text or purchase bundles, to stay connected to their loved ones.”

He explained that customers who are a part of ‘Ooredoo Surprises’ simply have to recharge by 5 OMR to receive 10 OMR in credit and those who opt for a 10 OMR recharge will be rewarded with 20 OMR in value. Those who have yet to join ‘Ooredoo Surprises’ however don’t have to miss out and can opt in for free by dialling *141*888#, or use the USSD menu *141# and follow the instructions. They then need to recharge by dialling *115*recharge code# to enjoy this offer and many others at no extra cost. The bonus credit will be valid for a total of 14 days while the value of the initial recharge will remain for the standard six month period.

‘Ooredoo Surprises’ is a special platform designed by Ooredoo to reward its customers with daily surprises including free calling minutes, low SMS tariffs, and bonus credit on their recharges. Joining is free, a one time activation and provides customers with daily surprises for 90 days. Those who opt in for the service will receive daily SMS communicating the ‘surprise’ of the day, with each offer valid for a 12 hour period.
