Ooredoo introduces Business Reach solution

Delivering on its promise to take communications to a whole new level, Ooredoo is now giving businesses the means to mobilise their communications and inspire growth with its Business Reach Mobile (BRM) solution. The new service will allow companies in Oman to have Private Automated Branch Exchange (PABX) or ‘switchboard’ functionality for their mobile services, without the need to physically own their own PABX equipment by hosting it in the Cloud.

The product is one of the most comprehensive mobile solutions in years and provides a range of key features, such as being able to set up a Cloud-based interactive voice response system (IVR), which will manage and direct all inbound call traffic through a ‘virtual receptionist’. BRM also allows its users to reach new levels of internal connectivity. With no operational expenses, the system can be integrated seamlessly with any existing plan.

Said Al Shanfari, Director of Business Marketing at Ooredoo, said, “Running a business is not easy, especially for companies in the service industries, where every call is an opportunity and every resource is vital to achieve sustainable growth. We have developed a service that will provide our business customers with a versatile and cost-effective method to make sure a call, and therefore an opportunity, is never missed. This mobile solution will take small, medium, and even large businesses to the next level by producing a fast and efficient communications experience that helps them to maximise their potential and boost operations; their services are only a phone call away.”

He added, “The BRM suite will give users a single access number with multiple lines to control all incoming and outgoing traffic, providing accuracy and efficiency. The service will keep clients, partners, and colleagues within reach at all times using a number that is easy to remember.”

Charges for BRM are separate from existing mobile plans. The service comes with three pricing structures that cater to changing needs of businesses across Oman. They comprise a one-off set-up fee, monthly group charges, and charges per line. Companies with a minimum of 5 lines will have a monthly fee of RO 19, whilst companies with 6-20 lines will be charged RO 29 per month. Larger businesses with 21-50 and over 51 lines will be charged a monthly fee of RO 39 and RO 49 respectively.
