From 04 April, T-Mobile Czech Republic will launch its IPTV service under the name T-Mobile TV. Customers will be able to choose from three tariffs with 70, 100 and 130 channels, including HD. The service will offer inter alia a time-shift function going 48 hours backwards, recording of up to 120 hours and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
More demanding customers can choose from six thematic packages, too, and the Videotheque. Each client who activates T-Mobile TV by the end of June will get a promotional discount of CZK 100 off their monthly subscription and the HBO Basic package for six months for free.
The IPTV service has the following three tariffs: Basic for CZK 399 a month and including 70 TV channels, Standard for CZK 499 a month offering 100 channels and Premium for CZK 899 a month with 130 channels, of which 30 are in HD quality.
Customers will be able to view the IPTV service on up to four devices simultaneously. The six thematic packages are Family (CZK 129 a month), Sport (CZK 149 a month), Foreign (CZK 99 a month), HBO Basic (CZK 249 a month), HBO Complete (CZK 299 a month) and Adult (CZK 249 a month). Access to Videotheque will cost CZK 99 a month.
The IPTV service requires a stable and unlimited internet connection at a minimum of 5 Mbps. T-Mobile Czech Republic offers two fixed internet tariffs - Standard and Premium, but the service works on any internet connection from any provider. The set-top box with a time-limited contract is available for a CZK 1 down payment and CZK 100 a month over 23 months. The set-top box without a contract costs CZK 2,999.
