In celebration of the 44th UAE National Day, du released its #UAEisHome video addressing the various UAE community segments comprising over 200 nationalities living in the country to showcase why the UAE is a home for all its residents. Through its just-released video #UAEisHome, du opens its doors for everyone to experience the unity, togetherness, and harmonious community feeling that every UAE resident experiences.
As part of its UAE National Day celebration, du sets up seven blue doors at prominent locations such as Marina Mall – Abu Dhabi, Global Village, Al Majaz – Sharjah, Ripe Market - Zaabeel Park, Dubai, Fujeirah City center, Mall of the Emirates and Al Manar Mall – RAK. Visitors who walked in through the doors were greeted by interactive screens with audiovisual engaging culture-based activities and won prizes for participating in activities showcasing their familiarity with the UAE.
The result: an engaging 2 minute video that records the joy and surprise of participants who walked in through the du doors and interacted with young UAE personalities, including Khaled Bin Hamad, Reem Al Marzouqi, Abdullah Al Qassab and Hamdan Mubarak who served as moderators.

du National Day campaigns have become something to look forward to each year, with each holding a significant social message and dimension. Last year, du’s National Day campaign, titled Narzif, brought together a multitude of nationalities to introduce a famous Emirati dance and showcase its popularity inside and outside the country. The video created social media history by engaging residents from UAE and the GCC and achieving the highest views for any UAE National Day video till date (over 5.9 million).
