Ireland's largest telco, eir, has expanded its flagship IPTV offering to include over-the-top (OTT) live TV for its customers on iOS and Android devices.
The STB-based core eir Vision platform was launched in 2013 using SeaChange's Adrenalin multiscreen software. The latter has also continued its lead systems integration role in the new deployment which uses third-party technologies including ATES Networks' single sign-on package and Broadpeak's CDN and streaming server solution.
