At the inauguration of GITEX Technology Week 2015, Huawei has revealed a packed agenda for this year’s exhibition, outlining a series of key technology portfolio developments, partner discussion sessions and industry forums.
As technology trends such as cloud computing, big data and IoT continue to spur adoption across vertical enterprise sectors in the Middle East, Huawei is using GITEX as a platform to showcase its wide range of technology products. It believes that its ICT solutions can help accelerate industry digital transformation – creating new value and extended benefits for organizations.
According to Huawei, society is bridging the digital divide at a rapid pace through the adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT). This topic will form a central focus for Huawei at the Technology Exhibition as it reinforces its support for the development of IoT by highlighting its connected infrastructure and mobile broadband technology expertise.

With its Smart Cities and IoT expertise firmly rooted in the development of innovative ICT infrastructure, Huawei is set to reveal a host of new IoT services that will create a better-connected world for citizens – specifically a safety and security solution for connected transportation.
As part of Huawei’s strategy to drive increased agility and impact bottom line within the enterprise market, the ICT vendor will also unveil a series of new additions to its solutions portfolio, coupled with live demonstrations and interactive case studies offering strategic guidance to governments and businesses on how to best approach developing an IoT wide infrastructure.

Businesses across the Middle East are increasingly demanding more converged and agile technology solutions that can enable flexible, reliable and secure systems. To address this rising demand, Huawei will showcase its range of innovative ICT solutions within Convergence in Cloud, Agile Service Connections and Software Defined Networking (SDN) technologies.
As the requirements for smarter and more innovative storage technologies have peaked interests amongst regional business leaders, Huawei will also be showcasing its latest intelligent and convergent cloud-ready storage solutions as part of its GITEX agenda.

They will be speaking at the GSMA Mobile 360 Middle East conference and the Huawei CIO Forum to share insights about how the development of the Internet of Things and Smarter Cities will prove fundamental to improving the quality of life of citizens and businesses in the Middle East in the decade ahead.
Huawei’s CIO Forum, taking place on October 20 at GITEX, will include insight from IDC analysts driving discussion about how digital transformation is helping to accelerate the development and management of Smarter Cities.
