Hisense has officially entered Zambia and is showcasing its products, including a new range of smartphones and televisions, including ultra LED (ULED) models. Pedro Teixeira's, deputy general manager at Hisense, noted the importance of the Zambian market during the launch, ITWeb reported. Local company, Hazida has been selected as Zambia's Hisense distributor. Riaz Mulla of Hazida believes that Hisense is set to make a big impact in Zambia.
Zambia is now one of fifteen African countries where Hisense has an established presence. It has factories in South Africa, Egypt and Algeria. The company as also established an export division to cater for Southern African countries that include Madagascar, Ghana, the Seychelles and now, Zambia.
