After taking part in the ACIEM summit in Colombia, Televes is looking to expand its presence in the country following interest roused by its IPTV solutions for hotels and residential GPON offers.
"We are making a very positive evaluation of our participation in ACIEM's first event, as it gathered the industry's main players, over 20 companies and international manufacturers and around 300 engineers, becoming a great meeting point for telecoms business," said the Spanish company.
During the one-day event, organised by The Colombian Association of Engineers, Televés presented several business lines for the Colombian market, including global solutions and professional offers for operators and the hospitality sector. Visitors were introduced to the distribution headend T.0X, with an integrated DVB-T solution optimised for the 6Mhz bandwidth Colombian channel, and the optic solutions' portfolio.
There was special interest in the Gigabyte-capable passive optical network (GPON) solutions for buildings and the TV distribution systems over IP for the hotel sector.
Headquartered in Santiago de Compostela, Televes is a leading global company focused on the design, development and manufacture of equipment for distributing telecommunication services throughout buildings and homes.
