Pakistan's Ufone and British Council recently awarded two lucky winners of ‘UEnglish’; an interactive English language learning SMS service, started by Ufone in collaboration with British council, via a prize distribution ceremony held in the city of Lahore.
The aim of this service is to facilitate those customers who want to enhance their English language vocabulary. The service works in a simple way as customers receive SMS on demand with multiple choice questions based on a 1 year English learning course developed by the British Council. On responding with selected answers they receive a validation SMS of correct answers.
Commenting on this occasion Syed Sherjeel Bin Hassan, Head of VAS said:
"Learning is the key to growth in life, which should continue throughout life besides its application. Through the initiative of ‘UEnglish’ we have practically tried to apply the same principle, where our emphasis has been solely on inculcation of skills and their application."
