Ooredoo has a history of supporting kidney patients in Qatar. In 2010, it donated the centre to Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) to provide dialysis facilities for people suffering acute and chronic kidney disease.

The theme of Ooredoo’s work during the holy month is ‘The best time to share our best’ and the visit was one in a series to hospitals, elderly homes and children’s centres.

Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director, Community and Public Relations, Ooredoo, said: “Ooredoo holds a special place for the centre due to our involvement in its history, and we make sure to include it in our Ramadan campaigns. Since its inception, the centre has enriched many lives daily and we are pleased to support the team throughout the year.”

The centre offers a modern and spacious area for patients, with 80 stations and 20 private rooms. The volunteers were received by a team of nurses, senior staff and patients.

Ooredoo’s Alrabaa will be seen at events and locations across Qatar with surprises and entertainment.
